Quick’s closing in on 400. He’s almost caught Hasek in wins, then Miller’s just a couple ahead from there. He should finish the year as the all time American leader in wins.
and- yes
i will never forgive blake for the way quick was treated among alot of other stuff including being a dumb sob. somebody needs to paintball blake and luc's jerseys.
Cal won 20 games that year. Both goalies had good results. Quick went 23-13-9, Peterson was 20-14-2.Jon Quick led the team to the playoffs three seasons ago. He did it with Sean Durzi as the #1D and Cal “The Cooler” Petersen as his backup. Next season, Blake flushed him down the toilet for Felix Copley and a guy named Joonis. The Kings win fewer playoff games and Blake is 100 miles back from square one this year.
Quick wins another cup and is now a stud on Broadway. This should show Kings fans that those who flee this regime are the real winners.
I have a theory about that. Look at Shestyorkin's drop off this season... I wonder if JQ is such an alpha amongst goalies the other ones become cucks.Cal won 20 games that year. Both goalies had good results. Quick went 23-13-9, Peterson was 20-14-2.
The problem was that they needed to make the change from Quick to move forward, but they fudged it and ended up destroying Cal's confidence while alienating Quick.
It was more raping of an extremely overmatched GM:But i have been told that he was a cap dump?
Why is that Ironic? Is it because LA has an abundance of RHD?ironically.... Walker is actually part of the best examples of a Righty-Righty pairing working for the Kings (for extended periods of time) but I rarely see anybody reference it or him in all the back and forth about the concept.
Less than $3m since simply keeping him buried in Ontario would have given them around $1.1m of relief automatically. It was more raping of an extremely overmatched GM:
Peterson, Walker, Granz (2nd rounder) and 2024 2nd.. for flotsom and jetsom (provorov, canaughton and Hodgson) and 2m retention on Provorov for 2 seasons.
Basically all that to save 3m for 2 seasons on Caltastrophe. I dont know how this isnt talked about more as another one of Rob's disasters.
I suppose ironic wasnt the right word...Why is that Ironic? Is it because LA has an abundance of RHD?
Which makes it worse. Apparently there was no interest in Walker standalone... and why he played over Spence - to try to up his value.. Walker had no future here with Spence and Clarke ready to contribute. You couldve moved Spence and kept Walker.. but after the knee blowout my guess they worried about his long term health. Edit: still I cant think of any trades Blake has won except for the Muzzin deal which is basically even.Less than $3m since simply keeping him buried in Ontario would have given them around $1.1m of relief automatically.
Gotcha,I suppose ironic wasnt the right word...
coincidentally?
Just found it mildly amusing that there was a conversation about righty-righty pairings and nobody mentioned Walker as being proof that it could work with a sample size longer than 5 minutes and then here he is getting mentioned as being worth a 1st rounder at the deadline.
Additional context... some people still refer back to him bitterly as if he was a plug and a waste.
They were wrong then and they're wrong now.
Or or NHL ready prospect with waivers next year, but I fully agree that Roy SHOULD be moved. If teams are saying a first for walker than Roy should definitely be traded. You cannot let him walk for nothing.
Roll the dice with Spence and Clarke.
