With 16 boxes in the case (48 packs/box - 15 cards/pack), I believe I heard that the average is 1-2 Gretzky cards per box. As someone who is a collector of vintage cards and unopened packs/boxes, I think I'd open a few, but definitely keep the majority sealed.

Obviously, not even close, but a slice of my own collection of unopened wax from the 80's. Great memories from my childhood.

The more I read about Hockey Canada...ooh boy is that some horrible stuff. I think the worst I read is that they were using hockey dues from everyone (including little kids) to pay hush money to victims of sexual assault so it didn't get out.

I use to play in an adult mens league when I was like 13-17 because of the shortage of netminders and some of the stuff they'd do and say in the locker rooms was just weird.

The flames should be ashamed. I doubt they had zero knowledge that Dube at least could be involved. Any team with a player from the 2018 Team Canada Juniors knew this was a possibility. For them to make a mental health tribute video when Dillan "stepped away" from the team is just such piss poor taste.

I mean if I can connect the dots then surely their team can.

It's basically the PLD trade, except Lindholm is likely to be better, and they'll CERTAINLY get more out of him this year.

I don't really love it for either side. If the Canucks win it all than that changes the script for them, but otherwise I agree with you.
I think if Calgary would have retained on Lindholm they should have got a better package without having to take a slow ass Kuzmenko. Is he the only player this year to make over $5M and be scratched?
