The worst part about the Canucks resurgence is all the twats that have been put in their place since 2012 have all come back out of the woodwork.

Good point.

But at least now their players aren't the biggest collection of scumbags in the league.

Sometimes we forget just how bad it was.

That fanbase cheering for Kesler, Torres, Lapierre, Burrows, Bieksa, Glass,

God bless the 2011 Boston Bruins.

Fans of other teams liked to complain about Brown, but there’s just no world in which he’s as dislikable as those Canucks guys. Nor was he anything like Corey Perry either, for that matter.

Miss you Brownie.

We don't have a single player like Brownie on the current team.
Unfortunately we didn't have a player like him for five of his six last years here either.

But we do need an emotional catalyst that can change the temperature of the game when needed. I don't think those players are in favor with on and off ice leadership though.

Guys like Vilardi and Clarke?

Me waiting for Koehn Ziemmer to make the big club

I can’t believe we could’ve had Faber and Vilardi with the rest of Byfield and the kids just coming out of a rebuild.

It’s so f***ing depressing. It’s like if DL traded Doughty for Dany Heatley and Brown for Alex Semin.
Speaking of which, Faber got another assist today, which would give him 21 points.

That would be tied for the team lead among Kings blueliners. And he gets half the powerplay time that Doughty does.

Faber is a better player than Drew Doughty. Maybe Drew will create an account here and give it a "Ha", but it's the truth. And that's not a knock on Drew, who is still a good player.

Lets slow your roll on that last part. Doughty #2 overall, Faber #52 [?] Doughty at times, even in year 1 took over games. Faber's good, but lets not kid ourselves.

Englunds last two games: 16:13 TOI -2
10:55 TOI +1

Moverare same boat as well

It's almost like evaluating bottom pairing dmen in limited minutes is always going to be silly

He looked fine last night considering his partner and the opponent, yes i watched the enitre game on TNT because Colorado is always a fun watch and MacKinnon looks better than ever

But again this is about not seeing the forest for the trees, the latest form of Blake Copium
It's almost like Bjornfot is a #6/#7 D at the NHL level. I'm glad you finally admitted that he's a bottom pairing guy. I wish him the best; not gonna be missed.

I was wondering how he's been playing in Vegas lately......wait, he's been playing big minutes in Vegas right? That was the what the uproar and gnashing of teeth was...right?

You clearly do not watch the games.

Funny, when I say shit like that, everyone goes up in arms.....saying Faber now is better than Doughty at the same age is flat out insanity, if you were comparing him to each other now....then sure....but at the same age they are, Doughty was heads and tails above Faber.....

I’ve mentioned it before but I think the real crime in this rebuild was never allowing our young players become “the guy”. With Kopitar and Doughty, you know who owns the room. Other guys didn’t get a chance to step up. It’s the Patrick Ewing effect. Team dynamics can be weird. That’s why I sometimes wonder if Byfield should be centering two young guys. Not worry about any of them deferring to each other.

Kaliyev - Byfield - Laferriere

Why not?
