Dude did it to himself, you can put away the Kleenex.

It's pretty simple to, I don't know, not get terminated on moral/behavioral grounds by one of the shadiest organizations in sports, conjecture be damned, he did something bad enough that the PA isn't putting up a fuss about it.

A fair viewpoint doesn't start with 'what about his HOF chances.'

Maybe re-read that one RJ, I didn't defend anything at all - because we have no idea what happened. The online circus is a shit show. What exactly are you upset about here?

But the point remains. Corey Perry was likely to be a HoFer - a point in which Kings fans might uniquely dispute due to the rivalry - and whatever incident is here may make that an interesting conversation when the time comes.

I'd imagine Byfield would have to go the other way and no Dubois.

Maybe, and if so sorry, but it looked like you were suggesting we can't give him a fair shake here on this forum and that it would be a shame if his HOF chances were in jeopardy.

There are plenty of guys in the Hall with spotty histories.

Seems like you’re inventing a reason to shit on everyone here. Weird dude.

I don’t think anyone would dispute that Gezlaf should be in the hall or not simply because he was a duck.

I don’t have a strong opinion on Perry’s chances for the hall regardless of what he may or may not have done this month, but if his fate is sealed based on a single off ice incident at the ass end of his career, maybe his case for the hall wasn’t very strong to begin with?

After all there are dudes in the hall that beat their women to a pulp. Getting it on with Stacy’s mom or whatever seems pretty pale in comparison.

I've grown to like Perry since he is so far removed from mattering to me in the Kings/Ducks rivalry and he's continued to play a style of hockey that is quickly vanishing.

I'm pretty dumb a lot of the time but here I go again: I'll like him even more if the Bedard's mom stuff is true. What a character.

My speculation on Perry with absolutely zero inside information is that it was some sort of harassment of a team employee.
 
VGK/EDM was sloppy tonight, Vegas particularly looks tired. They didn't really start skating until about 8 minutes left. Pretty entertaining game at least, you could just sense the Oilers fans were freaking at the end figuring the Oilers would choke it away.
 
looks like the Oilers are most likely out of their funk. They beat Vegas tonight but man oh man, Draisaitl is such an enigma to me. I’ve not seen a player who looks as unskilled and unmotivated as he does generally. Edmonton can cope as much as they want but Draisaitl is lucky he gets to hide in McDavids shadow and just wire shots on the PP

Yeah Draisaitl is PLD on crack

if he wanted to be, he could be more dominant than McDavid...think Malkin vs. Crosby on physical tools

Instead, you get the sense if they were separated and he was 'the guy,' he'd just float and smack his stick everywhere on the ice

but of course go figure, our challenging schedule gets amplified by the shitty teams being good to great when we play them (Wild, even Sens, but upcoming Oilers Sharks and other divisional teams taht get up for us anyway).

Vegas looked awful again. If the Kings were playing either of those teams last night we would have beaten them by 3 or 4. Both of their games were reminiscent of how the kings played against Colorado in the opener.

The VAN/Ducks game was much better.

vegas didnt show up for the 1st period at least.
they looked like a dead tired team, having played the night before and alot of hockey last season.
im still not sold at all on the greasers. thier defense consists of one real defenseman and a bunch of forwards that never leave the o zone. mc whiner cheated so bad on his goal it was like he had just come out of the box

it's going to be so sad when we finally play the Oilers while they are on fire and we are slumping, because of course that will happen
