With Carlsson, I knew once I read the rumors about some teams having him above Fantilli that he must be a hell of a prospect.
Imagine having two centers that good, one is 20 the other one is 18.

The Steel are my favorite junior team so I still follow and try and take in a game whenever I am out that way. I used to attend regularly, and didn't see much talent (other than Slavin) but now they are a total factory, second only to the NTDP squad.
I saw Celebrini play once last season and came away really impressed and believing the hype. I think I told KP that I'd be shocked if he wasn't "The Guy" at the top of this draft. The combo of the creativity and Ozone game sense and the ability to finish and distribute reminded me a bit of Kane.
And yes, he is very young, and he was very young last year in the USHL. He was able to accelerate his entry into BU to play at 17. Michigan tried to do the same with Jack Hughes for his draft year but unfortunately he couldn't clear. But to be doing what he's doing at the NCAA level at 17 is pretty remarkable.
It would be good for SJ to have a local kid who spent time in their youth program to be starring for the team. We will see where the lottery balls fall or if Eiserman or the Russian kid can make a move.

The Oilers go to move is to double shift Mcdavid if they're down. Wearing him down is the key & why the Oilers flame out in the playoffs after riding Mcdavid all year.

He isn't? He's the lowest scoring forward on that line and on the team (behind everyone's favorite stone-hands, Lewis). He's actually the lowest scoring skater on the team (behind Englund, who scored his first goal in his career just last week).
Don't get me wrong; I like Laferriere. That doesn't mean he couldn't use some games in the AHL to work on his game.

Watching Van v TO.. twice Van makes a nice hit, and TO player instigates a fight. On both PPs Van scores. Love this so much. I hate that every hard hit ends in some retaliation fight - and this is nice poetic justice
