I turn on the Canucks/Sens game, and 5 minutes in I see the Canucks have 2 goals on 3 shots. Lol.

If I must, I'll live with a home OT loss to a team with at least some talent on a back to back after a win against Vegas if the Oilers lose to the Sharks.

Looking bleak for the Oilers. Teams that are more than 5 points out on November 1st only make the playoffs about a quarter of the time, and they are 8 points out on November 9th.

The West is top-heavy and the wild cards will be wide open, but there are many teams for them to jump. If the playoffs this year require the typical 98 points or so, they need to get 93 out of a possible 140. So they need to get points at the same pace as the Avalanche have this year and hope no other teams go on a tear.

Not many positives there. RNH has looked really good this year. Nurse and Ceci are a disaster.
