Sorry but I'm not convinced a team that ices Michael Amadio and Ben Hutton regularly is that good. Nope. No way.

They're not, they just used low cost guys to stay under the cap. Amadio was waived 3 times before landing in LV and plays for the league min.

Could have the entire west coast in the lottery but if Chi, Pit, or NYR is in it, they're a shoo in

Nobody will be surprised.

Dude, totally dig the new avitar!

Zegras fills seats, McTavish wins games.
Had a conversation with a marketing big wig with the Ducks last year, and he said that internally they consider MacTavish, not Zegras, to be the face of the franchise going forward.

That's a lock no doubt. Either them or Chicago will get another 1OA. Bettman likes to reward Sh*t franchises that allow coaching staff to have...well dirty deeds with young players. LOL.
We do owe Bettman for not letting the Ducks win the Crosby sweepstakes. We’re talking about a decade plus of dominance and possible multiple cups. Not to mention a one-sided head-to-head record vs the Kings.

Ughhhhh, just thinking about that makes me sick.

You don't invest marketing in the dude you're trading for cap reasons in the near future.

Was actually happy they gave Vegas their first loss. My hatred for Vegas and Edmonton runs deep. Anaheim runs on their emotions, especially Zegras. Ruffle their feathers a bit and they are off course.

In my opinion, the rivalry for us is always better when the Ducks are a decent team.
Oh I agree and there are enough bad teams in the Pacific that the Kings have a good chance at a playoff spot.
My biggest problem is my wife is a Ducks fan. If the Ducks go further in the Playoffs than the Kings, I have to change my Facebook pic to me wearing a Ducks jersey until they are eliminated.
(Standing bet)

MacTavish f***in rules, pretty clearly the future C, and the right guy to keep Zegras relatively in line
He was the guy I wanted the Kings to get if he was there. Dude had been skyrocketing up the boards before the draft and I thought he MIGHT still be there at 8 but had worries. Happy we got Clarke, but McTavish is just in the mold of Shannahan really. Tough, big, strong, wins. He's going to be a nightmare over the next decade.

Oilers and Canucks playing their third game against year other tonight, pretty wonky schedule making

Don’t worry, it used to take months but Amazon AWS analyzed billions of matchups to come up with the perfect schedule this year

Canucks up 3-1 on Oilers late in the 1st. Lovin' it.

It was an idea. I didn't say it was a good idea.

EDM 20 shots, 1 goal, VAN 10 shots 3 goals.
EDM 1.6 xG, VAN 1.1 xG
Can't really blame the goalie on any of the four goals. Maybe Canuck's second goal Skinner could have stopped.

Oilers defensemen look terrible not defending the middle of the ice. Its like they look at each other and wait for the other to take the man

I'm not that impressed with Vancouver, but they are better than I thought they would be. They've been quite opportunistic but in almost all the game time I've watched them they don't have a lot of sustained pressure. They tend to not control games, rather the opposition is usually doing the controlling. The exception lately was the Dallas game, I think they matched the Stars pretty well in that one.

They've had exceptional goaltending and timely scoring. They haven't had the toughest schedule, either.

Edmonton looks really bad. Like as bad as I've seen them since the Renney/Krueger/Eakins days.

SO FUN watching the Oil struggle.
And Edmonton's second goal only after Demko is obviously tripped and no call.
Vanloser playing very inspired hockey.
