I’d be down with Dubas for the sole reason he actually seems coherent about his plans for the team while Blake seems completely oblivious.
Agreed.. That aint sayin much.. Actually dont know much about Dudas other than he went cocaine at the deadline

Also it’s no shock that there’s certain things to be good in the playoffs. Kings for example lost due to the same glaring holes they had in the beginning of the season. It’s not that they can just get into the playoffs and anything can happen.

Kings had glaring weaknesses, bad medical staff, bad coaching, bad defense. Then you add the lack of character from Kopitar and Doughty with Durzi getting defensive zone starts late in the game.

Anything can happen in the playoffs if your team has the intangible ability to overcome adversity. You have Todd, arguably the biggest choker in NHL recent history, and then that’s that.

@johnjm22 - im really puzzled by that non-challenge..I say enough ambiguity on how he got to the crease to challenge it (esp giving up the lead)

This postseason just goes to show you that nobody knows shit about how to win in the playoffs.

Whatever Montour is doing this year, is basically the equivalent of Durzi doing it for the Kings. And we hate that guy. Can't wait until he's gone.

Yes, anything can happen. Teams do that every year. The best laid plans of mice and men.

And Florida had the ingredients to be up 2-0 in the 3rd round back in October. Sure. Sure they did.

I think Carolina is missing Svechnikov and Pacioretty right now. They really need some of that high end finishing skill.

Shanahan seems hurt that Dubas chose to air his wavering desire to be GM of the Maple Leafs, a job Shanahan described as an honor for anyone to have, in public without telling him. He seems hurt that Dubas came in at the last second to ask for more money after months of work on an extension between himself and Dubas' agent. He seems hurt that Dubas continued to insist upon a desire to return despite these other actions, creating a climate in which Shanahan likely felt he couldn't trust him.

What a shit show, and I’m loving every minute of it.

That’s the Canadian “media”? I guess when your balls are frozen 6 months out of the year you’ve gotta stay entertained somehow.

Also when Brendan Shanahan is your top exec, what exactly are you expecting? Might as well hire Luc Robitaille.

Ah f***.

I didn't like the way Dubas handled himself over the past few months.

Getting overlly emotional at games when he knows the cameras are on him. Felt like he was near breaking down in tears at the year end press conference.

Grow up dude. Act like a professional.

He's making millennials look bad. Sort of fitting the stereo type the older generation has about us.

Im calling Stars in 7 on this.. Theyve been down in each series starting off.. i think they outlast Vegas
