Yep. That's the same draft they passed him over for Rossi.

Man, if this team had Rossi and Lundell right now… we’d be set.

I think people thought Lundell would have been redundant with Ek on the roster. Hopefully Rossi comes in next season and shines.

This is semi-interesting.....I wonder which skill events Kaprizov takes part in?

EDIT: Answered

I could do without those outdoor skills...

I've never really been big on the All-Star game, in general, but watching guys shoot pucks in the Bellagio fountains might peak my curiosity.....if I have nothing else going on.

I couldn't care less to see players shooting pucks at a board trying to get blackjack.

I much prefer the traditional shooting at targets at the 4 corners of a goal, seeing who can go an astonishing 4 for 4!

I remember back when the Wild used to hold their own Team Skills comp. Gaborik went 4 for 4, saw it live and it was cool as hell!

By 2030 the All Star Game will just be an episode of Fear Factor.

That sounds like a considerable improvement on what it's been the last several years

Gaborik was at an adjacent rink during one of my practices back in the day when he was in the middle of his hold out, watched him snipe the cross bar twice in a row from the center line completely effortlessly. Our whole team realized we would never be in the NHL after seeing him do that.

The ASG used to be something I really looked forward to when I was younger. Now, I find it a complete waste of time and truly annoying. At this point, I can't get past the fact that to me, it's just a couple week period where there aren't real, legitimate NHL games that count. And I dislike that immensely.

That is any all star game in a nutshell.

This pretty much sums up the last couple of seasons in general.

Interesting....Evidently U-13AAA (his son's team) is the highest level of hockey he has coached.
