Doughty saying certain players on the Kings are worried more about their point totals than they are wins. Some Kings fans think he is referring to Fiala, in particular.

I don't know much about their situation as I haven't been watching, besides noticing them losing lots of games lately, but most of their fans who've spoken up seem to think it's either PLD or Fiala. Could be both, I guess.

I still think we got Fiala's best years, and now we also should get Faber's best years, so whether it's Fiala or not that Doughty is referring to, I'm a happy man.

Some of the PLD criticism I've seen is not so much that he only cares about his point totals, but that he doesn't seem to care about much of anything at all.

Speaking about the 2018 WJC case, what about the 2003?
Going back that far brings all sorts of difficulties. People's memories are unreliable, witnesses and people involved die, change their minds, or become unwilling to be involved. Also, that incident was far more of a rumor compared to the London case.

From my understanding they still have a VHS tape of the incident.

I wouldn't mind if Bonino was claimed off waivers. No cost addition that should be better than the bottom of the current roster.

Bonino is better than Raska and Lucchini, right?

Not sure, it's seriously close. He's 35 years old now, had 5 points in 45 games this year, and a team worst -12. Corsi is 37.76%, Fenwick 41.47%, xG% 38.08%, HDCH% 35.10%. Those are well behind pretty much everyone else on his team. These stats are right in line with Luccini, but without the excuse of a small sample size, and well behind Raska.

Meh... I'd far rather see one Beckman, Walker, or Bankier up here. At least there is the potential of some upside.

Hope he calls in Oates to oversee Bednarik's practices, and starts loudly discussing trading Rantanen in the dressing room.

Nothing against Parise, but winning with AV's does not seem right. Hockey gods please fix.
Shades of Ray Bourque, but less liked. I've made some digs at Parise and the Avs over the last couple days, but I actually think I'd be happy for him to some degree. I don't know what he's like off the ice, but on the ice he at least always gave the Wild his best effort.

I never gave Parise much credit in the Wild, I was more one of those pro-Suter guys.

Suter vs. Parise in the playoffs seems extremely likely, maybe then it will be determined which one was the better player.

Different positions, but I always thought Suter was the better and more valuable player between the two. He was a legit 1D, whereas Parise was a very good 2nd line winger in his prime playing on our top line.
