My bad I didn't delete him when I deleted Hughes.

Why? He'll be in his 2nd season and these teams always add career guys/names over kids. If there is fan voting then the leaguewide know names will get chosen. Look at the love MAF still gets just from the players votes and he's been average to bad since he's been in MN.

Plus the games are in MTL and BOS, McAvoy and Petry are almost shoe ins just because of that.

I guess if there is janky voting stuff, then sure, almost anybody could get put on or left off.

But if you're just thinking of it as who are the best players for these spots, then in a year from now, Faber could very well be in the conversation over guys like Petry (if he wouldn't be already).

Obviously not shocking when the league supports the Hawks but it is surprising how many US teams haven't participated at all (Devils, Hurricanes, Coyotes, Islanders, Lightning, Panthers). I guess they need to tank for more marketable players.

The only thing the NHL cares about is market size and tv viewers. Which is why I have boycotted these Winter Classic games years ago. The novelty has LONG since worn off when it comes to the NHL playing outdoors, IMO.

Personally speaking, January 1st is all about college football, not hockey.

I don't see how the way the puck crosses the goal line should matter at all.
If he gets so butthurt over such a thing, maybe he should play bridge instead.
That is just psychopathic behavior.
If the puck barely wobbled into the goal, would that feel better for him? I don't get it.

Amazing how other sports can do harmless things without getting attacked.

Baseball would probably be the closest to hockey, with their dumb "unwritten rules" and HBP's after too long HR trots or whatever.

All this was was a windmill dunk at the at the end of basketball game with 1 team up 10.

Don’t get me wrong, Rielly’s move was much much worse. I just think that Greig’s shot was completely unnecessary. The whole point of doing it was to be a douche.

There is a lot of frustration in Ottawa and the Leafs have been one of their biggest rivals. Leaf fans were also out in number apparently. Lot of moving pieces here.

This is the type of crap i want outta the league. If theyd like to clean it up a bit more players should receive longer suspensions. 6 games doesnt seem enough to me for a move like that.

Pretty much. I don’t think many would have a problem if it turned into a shoving matching. The high hit was an obvious no-no. He got 5 games for it.

If it was say Landeskog that did that to the Wild and then Foligno put him on his butt people here would be cheering.
