Pastrnak is freakin amazing. My goodness. Draisaitl and Pasta should have gone 1-2 in 2014 amazing stinken talent.

He is amazing. And thrives with someone as smart as Bergeron is on his line, Bergeron had 4 pts last night, in a 4-3 win. He was on his game, and there are few better on both sides of the puck with his IQ.

Pasta could have netted a few more

Hextall's time as Flyers GM was underrated. He made some tough moves that needed to happen for them to get better.
Exactly.

Very impatient ownership.

It makes me think how the 90s Yankees happened because Steinbrenner was suspended and they held on to and developed their players. If the owners would have given Hextall another two seasons....

I hope Hextall stays

Uh oh.. Washington's lost two regulation games in a row.

rofl Caps goalie initiates contact with a Ranger and then flops like he got trucked so we get a couple fights at the end of the game.

I don't understand how so many players are getting COVID. Aren't the players and staff required to stay in some sort of bubble? Are they able to vaccinated?

I deal with hundreds of people every day but stay masked up, wash my hands, and don't take unnecessary risks and have been able to steer clear.

I don't know, maybe I've just been lucky.

I dunno, how do any single young male millionaires probably catch it?

By not giving a shit about it?

No, by being human. Young men and young women have a tendency to enjoy each other's company. Expecting people to follow rules or laws which go against basic human nature is a bit much, don't you think?

Besides as I said, I don't think the focus should be on the number of cases, but on the number of hospitalizations. So far, we aren't seeing any of that in the NHL. Anyone who is out and about should refrain from being in contact with high-risk individuals.

Little off topic but if my calculations are correct, only three teams in the league that has no player with more the 3 goals. Hint they all suck and from the same coastline. How depressing.

Yes but so much is at stake. As a teammate and an employee of a billion dollar industry maybe you don't need to sleep with a new woman every night.

Maybe I'm naive but I don't think every young millionaire is that gluttonous.

GMs, coaches, and the NHL needs to step in quick before it gets completely out of hand, 3 or 4 games every night are being postponed. These guys are paid very well and part of that comes with at least attempting to be responsible.

Protocol or not, if there's no bubble, if you multiply however many people are entering a building on each team--with staff, let's say what, 50-75? 100?--how many people do they come in contact with a day?

I don't even think people necessarily need to be irresponsible for transmission of a highly infectious disease. yeah sure some of these guys are gonna be f***around kids, but by and large I would imagine most of the infections are the same issues that affect the rest of the population.

Hell, when I got Covid, it was from my own, mostly homebound, family.

I appreciate that the NHL is responding by doing things, even if they're just tweaks, to try to help.

Marco Rossi, but granted that was IIHF, not NHL.

Good points on the covid thing guys. I'm not trying to sit in judgement, I just feel like I deal with a lot of people every day and have been able to keep it away. Like I said maybe I've just been lucky.
