The Oilers season could get ugly real quick. They are 1-3, they have looked bad, and 4 of their next 6 are against Toronto.

Yeah, that got feisty. Best part is that they play tomorrow and will play 6 more times after that, so you have to imagine some of this is going to bleed over. I'm really intrigued to see if there ends up being some real hatred that comes out of this conference setup.

One of the best byproducts, imo.

YOu don't get Malkin elbowing Simmonds in the chops in the dying seconds of a game if he's gotta see him 7 more times in short order.

Will probably amp up some of the hatred but also hopefully ramp down some of the pest/run-n-hide antics.

Yup was going to say he's looking better this year and has 6 points in 3 games. Could of had 4 points but a goal he set up was called off sides. It just takes time and that's why I'm not sweatin one bit with Byfield, Turcotte and the other prospects. Let them Mature.

With Florida lifting it's ban on in-person attendance, I can't imagine that is going to improve the situation in the short term either.
