His goal was pretty sick too. This next season or two is going to be brutal until Byfield gets going :P

Dayum I didn't realize the puck went up and then he smacked it after it hit the ice. Impressive indeed. Great every freakin Stutzle highlight is a lowlight for the Byfield pick. :sarcasm:

The streak lives on! Yandle will be in the lineup tonight for Florida.

Those Calgary jerseys are so f***ing nice. I love them. Kings need to go back to purple and gold. That's the one thing I really don't like about Blake and Luc.

No way dude. They are great for nostalgia purposes, but I'd never want to see them fulltime. They will always be Lakers colors to me and the Cooke era of not caring about the Kings.

Tough warmup when your own teammate takes a headshot. Wasn't able to play.

Beer league teammate got me high like that in a warmup once, thankfully I was wearing a plastic dangler. Even with the protection, I had a nice bruise on my neck to explain to coworkers for the next few days.

I had another teammate who I hated. In warmups, he'd insist on taking slap shots from 30 feet away, some of which were headhunters. I tried telling him to practice wrist shots instead since he'd rarely have the time to tee up a slapper in actual game play but the guy was dense. Even if I wasn't out there yet, he'd be there taking his slap shots.

Reminded me of an anecdote about Nail Yakupov staying after practice to snipe wrist shots on an empty net. Teammates/coaches were annoyed since he was practicing something he was already good at but put little effort into improving other parts of his game.

Our college coach would make anyone that pegged a goalie high in warmups skate until we started drills, haha. And then would take an extra long time before we got there in those cases.

end of the Detroit Columbus game was fun

Yeah, that got feisty. Best part is that they play tomorrow and will play 6 more times after that, so you have to imagine some of this is going to bleed over. I'm really intrigued to see if there ends up being some real hatred that comes out of this conference setup.

already forget the Red Wing who took a couple shots at the Columbus Goalie. He may have to answer.

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but it is hockey related, so here it is. I recommend the book to anyone looking for a great read with hockey serving as the driving force, and the show looks great as well.
