Everyone, including Kings management, acknowledges Doughty has tried to do too much when the Kings suck.

I believe you underestimate Doughty's effort, ability and current chops at your peril.
 
Vegas is an absolute cesspool of Covid right now. Regularly topping 1000 cases per day with 15% positivity rates (total population only around 2 million). We’re closing in on one out of every ten Las Vegans having contracted Covid. I know at least a dozen people who have gotten sick, and one who died.

Vegas simply cannot financially weather another lockdown, so our (very Dem) governor is sort of forced to keep things open with strict safety measures lest he cripple the city forever. This is America.
 
Hey Kings fans; Canucks fan here.

Could anyone enlighten me on how LA's forward lineup will look like next season? I'm curious to know considering the Kings are entering a youth movement and I'm sure guys like Byfield, Turcotte, and Vilardi are knocking on the door for roster spots. LA will be an exciting team to follow as the youth take over.

The consensus is that it will be very similar to the end of 19-20.

Something like this:

Iafallo - Kopitar - Brown
Kempe - Vilardi - Frk
Wagner - Lizotte - Carter
Grundström - Amadio - Moore
Luff, Anderson-Dolan rotating in and out.
 
With Santa Clara County likely to be in a constant state of lock down rumor has it the Sharks are moving to Quebec for this season and will become the Norsharques.
 
So now that CA looks to be locking down for the foreseeable future,if the lockdown lasts into Jan, how does that affect the Kings early training camp start? Will they be allowed to have Training Camp? Honest questions.

Guessing they will have to host it out of state
 
I heard that Calgary has a rapid COVID screening process with expedited / 1 day quarantine available.

the federal government is using the Calgary Airport to test this. I have not heard any of the results but right now all of Alberta is out of control with Covid. Not sure how the world juniors can be justified.
If a player/coach/exec member of a team needs a hospital bed the hospitals are near capacity and as an Albertan I don't want a bed occupied by a German player (just random example) to a spot if a family/friend needs one.
Love the world juniors but right now it should not happen in Alberta

After stalemate, NHL, NHLPA agree to keep economic framework of new CBA

No deal could be reached, and both sides decided to move on.

What’s next? Both sides continue to grind away at the protocols for 2020-21. Training camps, opt-outs, testing, the schedule, the playoffs, re-alignment, you name it.

Targets include a Jan. 13 start to the season, with non-playoff teams reporting Dec. 28 and others on Jan. 1. No exhibition games appear likely. I believe there is a short-term “hub plan” being worked on just in case, but it is not the preference. The biggest headache might be training camp plans in places like Montreal, San Jose (Arizona?) and Winnipeg, which have strict current restrictions due to COVID-19.
