Seeing the Ruff deal made me realize this is the final year of RBA's contract as well. So that'll be a fun off-season hoopla again...

Does the nhl allow for a pride group to advertise? If so, this is a non story as expected.

Seeing how pride nights are still allowed, this seems like a non story. Just some false line drawing. Twitter is good for that

It sounds like they're going to fine players who put on Pride Tape. Which will ultimately backfire on them. Because there are already players saying they're going to do it anyway.

And the last thing the league needs is a headline that reads "NHL fines player for supporting LGBTQ+"

Players and coaches support tragedies or cancer research and they will get fined. It will be a mess really quickly. While I can understand the reasoning behind banning everything, it is going to be poorly executed and blow up in their face quickly. Its hard to rule heavy handed when you can’t control the people who are supposed to abide.

But either way, the twitter post deserved to be made fun of.

Man, I hope that’s us jerks.

The fines the nhl always give out are chump change, anyway. You can try to separate a guys head from his body all for the low, low cost of a few thousand dollars so I can’t imagine this costing much more.
I truly doubt it's us, sadly. We've never done the jersey, and our efforts, sans those of a few players like DeHaan when he was here, have always been on the pro forma side.

Honestly? My bet is on Toronto. With the Burke connection they've always been way out in front on this, and boy do they ever have f*** you money.
