Military folks suffer too.FFS. I guess the NHL doesn't like the controversies over warmup jerseys in the news, but it's pretty sad to see them just surrendering to the bigots.

not really, the cancer foundations, kids foundations, and any other foundations that had specific warmups for fundraisers suffer. Sure those the military night could have went to wounded warrior or something but I think the Military folks as a whole will be fine. Not that a team couldnt designate that game jersey for a specific cause and auction them off still. May not bring the awareness though.Military folks suffer too.
Player size matters.

I have never once seen any of these mods censor anybody for an opinion -- and as far as politics, this group of mods is particularly forgiving.

There really is no other way than tolerance. We all belong, whether anyone likes it or not. I’d be enforcing that all day long.
It does but it really matters more how they use it. At least that’s what I’ve been toldPlayer size matters.
Really? This is all news to me. I've always been told it doesn't matter how big mine is, it feels the same to me!It does but it really matters more how they use it. At least that’s what I’ve been told

This is HF, bleed. Every contract is either a total steal or a ridiculous overpay. There is no in-between.I’m seeing people say it’s a steal. It seems the right amount a top of the market physical scoring winger should be getting right now, and it ain’t cheap so I’m not seeing steal as much as a “makes sense” contract.
I read somewhere that next year ALL the Jersey nights are gone. No more military appreciation jersey night, no more cancer jersey nights. The pride jersey decision is yet another example of the NHL's PR department taking a tricky situation and making the worst possible decision. And it's baffling that they're continuing to do so.
Multiple times, they've had the opportunity to make the obvious decision that most fans would support (John Scott, the fan votes in the most recent ASG, this pride jersey fiasco), and instead they make a decision so idiotic, you'd think they're trying to actively choose the worst option.
I can't begin to imagine how it must be working in their PR department. Because I assume the league has hired public relation professionals. You know, people who went to school for it, probably have years of experience in it, etc. And I can only assume those professionals are providing sound advice, only to wind up being ignored by the BoG (or whoever is making these final decisions).
Right? If you had to guess a week ago what his contract would be, you would throw out numbers like 8x8.5. Fair play for both team and playerI’m seeing people say it’s a steal. It seems the right amount a top of the market physical scoring winger should be getting right now, and it ain’t cheap so I’m not seeing steal as much as a “makes sense” contract.

If this is true Im closer to understanding, if that move is as it seems intended. There are old school owners fighting the pride concept. Saying fine, we won’t support anything then is childish but they’re dealing with oversized children. If taking away all the jerseys is a stand for inclusion I can get behind it.
Unless I read that somewhere disingenuous and that’s not happening.
