No where in the world is there a bag of popcorn big enough, for all the enjoyment I've gotten out of their silly angst.

(Although if they're sending David .... um ... whatshisname ... shitty texts, then f*** all of them.)
Montreal’s most brilliant minds are defeated when Reinbacher Falls?

Looking at '23-'24 schedule saw that Canes play Cats/Bolts fri/sat, Nov 10/11.

We are going to get tickets for Cats game and didn't realize that Florida moved away from Ticketmaster and now uses Seatgeek (first NHL team to break away from monopolistic/high fee Ticketmaster)....no tickets available yet but an fyi if you are interested.

thankfully none of our (current) guys tied up in the potential shit-storm that's about to hit from that.

Wonder if this is playing a part in the slow offseason... correct me if I'm wrong but weren't Batherson and Formenton caught up in this as likely parties? Maybe Ottawa isn't sure if they'll pull the trigger on Tarasenko and that's causing a traffic jam for everything else.

The Athletic with the off-season prediction whammy (22% said Canes would be runner-up too):

I saw Jake Bean was on that roster but he's since gone.

Makar was a part of that squad, oh boy.

The Hockey News had us last offseason too. Of course they couldn't have foreseen the Svech injury or Florida getting red hot down the stretch.

I think one of the few names known/confirmed not to be there was Makar as he was out of the country that night.

I thought it was Mete that wasn't there at the time and out of the country? I thought Makar just came out and said he wasn't involved.

EDIT: I just looked it up. Mete said he was in Jamaica on vacation with family. Makar, from what I saw quickly just said he wasn't involved but there was no mention of him being out of the country in the quick, albeit limited, search I did.
