If you just watched the 3rd period of Bruins-Panthers you would think Panthers are the top team in the League, not the B’s.

Btw: Refs have missed/ignored at 5 least penalties on Bruins in the 3rd

Btw: B’s just scored.

Except in May.
I’ll tell you what, it’s all up to them. There’s a certain mentality in the playoffs, which we’ve all seen, that you just have to get it done yourself, no one’s going to roll over and die for you. It’s not roster construction, it’s not a necessary acquisition - this core has to say among themselves, enough’s enough, time to make a statement to ourselves that we can play any type of way to win. Any type of way. It will probably require RBA to get a little more flexible, and the bench managers to trust the 4th line and 3rd pairing more and more - because they’re going to need them to give them great minutes, which they’re fully capable of doing.

Tangential, but Netflix has a Korean game show up called Physical 100. It takes 100 athletes (many Olympic), trainers, military, rescue, body builders, basically every single physical class and challenges them in different ways. It is an incredible show 2 episodes in.

Relating to the mentality piece. Without trying to spoil too much of the first challenges - it is clear in the beginning that contestants who are trained in mental endurance can outlast even the most skilled individuals perfectly fitted to a task. The Special Forces and Mountain Rescue people are crushing these Olympic athletes through sheer force of will.
