The answer to who was carrying who between Slavin and Hamilton was… neither? An L for both analytics and the eye test, in a way.

In a league that had any integrity the officials who blew this call would be fined and suspended along with the offending player.

Pretty sure that was a young Andy Reid. JR's mask later showed up with a Sharpie mustachio on it.Damn imagine being JR and getting scored on by some 13 year old in the NHL.
Number of articles on web/headlines that Bally's parent preparing for imminent banx. I wonder if that will impact next year's cap?
Bally Sports RSNs Are Reportedly Preparing For Bankruptcy | Cord Cutters News
Today it is being reported that Sincalir’s Sports Channels are preparing for bankruptcy. This would include the Bally Sports RSNs. The company called Diamond Sports Group LLC, which runs Sincalirs sports channels, is reportedly $8.6 billion in debt. Sinclair is hoping to strike a deal to help...cordcuttersnews.com
I think this presents an opportunity for some of the larger media players to step in...if the league can execute a deal.

I was thinking that they could creatively package an offering for those looking for a new home. There may be a few known entities who are expanding their offerings in this area that the locals could potentially pair up with who likely could provide a more stable service and platform than what was really offered in the Bally app.Hopefully….there is a reason why the large media companies dropped their rights (and sold) to regional sports channels…..they didn’t believe in their future/valuation.
Btw: I believe each team negotiates their rights which makes it difficult for the league to take over.
Its really asinine they haven't bolted from this outdated model with streaming available anywayI wish the NHL would just go to a direct streaming model already. f*** the middlemen that don't deliver shit. If you want me to pay $20/mo to see this team or $40/mo to see every team, I'll pay it.
Just for S&G’s.
Dougie with Slavin , 42G, 79A 121 P, +/- 50
Slavin with Dougie, ,17G, 65A, 82P, +/- 52
Dougie with NJ, 22G, 50A, 72P, +/- (-) 5
Slavin after Dougie, 7G, 50A, 57P, +45
The old model probably pays better. $1 per cable subscriber in those markets is probably way more then $20 per person willing to pony up to watch the fourth most popular sport in the country. Its really asinine they haven't bolted from this outdated model with streaming available anyway
Dougie was on a bad team with a bad goaltending last year where-as Slavin was on a top 3 team in the NHL with good goaltending.
How do the two compare this year, when both are on good teams?

A trade:
Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t with Colorado at the right time last year.Matt Nieto’s career is funny.
SJS -> COL -> SJS -> COL
Maybe in a few years he will go back to San Jose.
Yeah, it's clearly paying Bally tons. The old model probably pays better. $1 per cable subscriber in those markets is probably way more then $20 per person willing to pony up to watch the fourth most popular sport in the country.
