He could get the coach fired though. You don't throw away a 10.5 million dollar contract, no one in their right mind would do that, your agent would fly to your house and slap you upside the head, even the NHLPA would probably call him to not do that. Contract termination is insane.

Players are a lot softer nowadays. Saying the truth doesn't seem to go over well with lots. Especially someone soft like Huberdeau

That extra 3 million a year he's making is fair compensation for putting up with Sutter. Huberdeau was put in kind of an odd situation where he gets grossly overpaid to be a Flame or he walks to free agency and likely loses out on 15+ million. Makes me feel bad for Parayko if the Flames trade for him because he didn't even get the choice but will be stuck there the rest of his career.
