Kucherov keeps trucking along. 1 point away from league lead in points now.

At 30 years old too.

I think we're about to see an era where the high skilled guys can still play at a high level in their 30's.

Up until the last few years, the guys in their mid 30's were from the previous era, that didn't take care of their bodies, or diet the way players do now. Then the game started getting faster, and faster every year, and most weren't able to adjust.

Going forward, the guys in their 30's will be from this current era, where they take much better care of themselves, and they're much better skaters than the previous era.

I think we're gonna see more guys like Stamkos, Kucherov, Crosby, and Malkin. Crosby and Malkin are the perfect comparables in this regard for Nate and Mikko IMO. Mikko is built similarly and highly talented like Malkin, and Nate does the same off season training Crosby does.

So Vegas shuts us out 7-0, then blows a 2-0 lead to Anaheim, and gives up 4 goals in the third?

These adrenaline dumps in hockey, for lack of a better term, are real. Avs seemed to stop playing after they hit the record for road wins.

Sounds like the same happened to Vegas after they dominated the measuring stick game against the Avs.

You put all your emphasis on achieving a goal. Then you achieve it and there's a natural drop in urgency to your game. Avs just need to find a way to regain that.

I watched those highlights, eichel scored a nearly identical goal against Gibson as he did Georgie.

3-1 Canucks and shots are 19-7 Edmonton

Man both Oilers goalies are completely mentally broken beyond repair. I've never seen goaltending single handedly tanking a team that much before.

That breakout started by Ian Cole where Suter makes the longest uncontested cross-ice pass in NHL history only to get the puck back in the slot with zero oilers anywhere close for an easy goal was absolutely hilarious.

Drysattle is garbage defensively.
