It's early but its pretty easy to see the Avs, Knights and Stars topping the West. With a sprinkle of the Kings, Oilers (got some things to fix), Kraken and possibly the Canucks in the mix.

The gap between the top and bottom teams in the West appear to be widening even more this year. All the more reason to go all in this yet again.

Bouchard is a highly flawed player who produces. Can't be bothered to defend or work hard in front of his own net or on puck retrievals.

At the same time, he should have scored 3 goals last night. Beat Wedgewood 3 times but hit posts.

Wow, they gotta make the conference final at least. How happy must @BrickNHL be?
I’ve never been so glad to have moved out of the lower mainland. Meet more Leafs and Oilers fans than Canucks ones up here for some reason.

Thrilled I bet on Hughes to win the Norris too not because I actually thought he would (at that point) but because the money would help me handle how annoying the Canucks fans that will magically come out of the woodwork would/will be about it

You are obviously wrong because we were told by posters that see him play every day that he is as good as or better than Makar.

Quinneas is going to have an asterisk next to the 2024 Norris with this news.

Here's a clip of when he gets injured. Weird play.

In slow motion from behind, it looks like Aho was trying to do that. That tells you that slow motion isn't always good, or shows the true nature of the play. When you watch it live, in that quick of time, it looks like Aho has Fox lined up for a hit. Fox tries to move out of the way, and they hit leg to leg. I agree, it is unintentional and unfortunate.

Plus they made virtually no roster changes in the offseason.
Full season of Ekholm. Healthy Kane and RNH. Got rid of a dead weight in Yamamoto for that guy with the 10 games played bonus.

Bouchard spent the summer training with Quinn Hughes so they can both go super saiyan.

Edmonton was already the top team in the league (except when Bettman and the refs cheat). And they only got better.
