That was one of the worst penalty shot attempts by Hronek.

The entire Canucks bench was telling him what to do and they confused the hell out of the dude:laugh:

Yeah they totally did. Or Pettersson told him to do something he had no ability to pull off.

Worst penalty shot attempt I ever saw was Dean McAmmond during his very brief, and very unmemorable stint with the Avs. I wish I could find the video. It wasn't until that moment that I realized McAmmond had hands of stone (he seriously was doing the whole "chopping wood" thing that coaches at the youth level tell you not to do when you're stickhandling). I had mistakenly assumed he was a high-skill guy given his stint on the Flames top line with Iginla and Conroy...dude had wheels and a heavy shot but not much beyond that. Regardless he had 996 NHL games so he must've done something right.

That penalty shot was probably so bad that they took the videos off across the internet. Its nowhere to be found

Gettin ready for playoff hockey out in Vancouver:

I think Logan is going to turn out to be a pretty good player. Might take him another year but he's got all the talent to be a top center for a team. Hope the change in ownership really sets a whole new culture to help them grow and be competitive. Some stable ownership must seem like a godsend for the players under contract. Wonder how many have already started looking for places in SLC.

I've followed the NHL for a long time, but this is the craziest news I think I've ever seen. NHL buying the club for a billion and then selling to Smith for 1.2-1.3 billion, complete money laundry...then it gets even better, the NHL gives Meruelo a five-year window to secure a new expansion team in Arizona with the process of grabbing this land in June or another piece of land within those five years. Lol, you cannot make this shit up. This is the best Hallmark Channel movie I've seen.
When Vegas turned out so good after an expansion draft, I was wondering if we'd see a team yeet their whole team and start over with an expansion draft. Didn't think it would actually happen.

With the OTL, Vancouver just opened the door for Edmonton to win the Pacific. 4 points back with 2 games in hand and the teams play on Saturday.

We might just be getting Vancouver/Vegas in round 1 while Edmonton gets Nashville.
Possible, but it’ll be tough.

Edmonton does have a few easier opponents (3 out of 5 games), but they are also playing 5 games in 7 days down the stretch, including two back to backs. That’s a brutal schedule, regardless of the opponents.

And that Vancouver game is the 2nd of a back to back, with Vancouver on two days rest.

That's gonna be a great game to watch.

Avs should be able to handle any of Nashville, LA, or WPG. If you can't beat those teams you aren't winning a cup. Dallas or Vegas in the first would be a much harder opponent.

I've been off the internet for a few days. What's the deal with the Coyotes? They done?

That's why players love Vegas. Regular season long vacations and play 1-2 months with full salary.

True.

We lost Vs Kraken that left me with no hard feelings because you know you can't beat the worst team in the playoffs.

Basically you are not worthy of winning SC. Whatever.

I don't know if the fact that someone plays golf means they are ready to play NHL playoff hockey.
The fact that Mark Stone pretends his back is heavy damaged and hurting but golfing is no "Problem" means Stone will play in the playoffs, book it. Maybe not in Game 1, Round 1 because it would be to obvious.
Correction: lacerated spleen.

Too bad the Blues shit the bed against the Sharks. Maybe Dallas can take Vegas out.

In the finals ya.
Exactly. And that didnt went well for them so far. :D

As crazy as you think it sounds, IMO he has been one of the best defensemen in the league this season.

Mattias Ekholm right now is who people THINK Victor Hedman is.
He’s been good but there are at least 15 better d-men for Norris consideration. Ekholm is no where near it. If there was a best defensive d-men award, maybe Ekholm would be top 5 there
