These are literally from Forbes.does anyone even believe these numbers? There's no way Toronto made only ~2x what Arizona made in revenue. These numbers are fudged to control a narrative give me a break

They are losing money for other teams. Yotes were still dead last in the NHL in revenue in 2022-23:

Forbes also valued them at 500M when they don't own a stadium....These are literally from Forbes.
Isn't the cap based on 50% of revenue? In theory someone should be able to add all of the numbers up and see if it's close to the cap?does anyone even believe these numbers? Big market... this is why the NHL works so hard to be in large markets. Even if you get a team that struggles, you have a built in huge amount of revenue. With everything that has gone wrong in Arizona... the fact they are only 8m behind Ottawa and 31m behind Columbus really shows why the NHL is reluctant to give up that market. Winnipeg at their absolute peak was a mid 170s team and are falling to the 150s quickly. The Isles as a mediocre large market team are in the 180s. Anaheim as a terrible large market team equals Winnipeg.Geez, the Devils made that much!?
And the Coyotes are literally gonna sell for 1b or double their valuation... Forbes is underselling the actual market value.Forbes also valued them at 500M when they don't own a stadium....

The Coyotes are a liability not an asset.
Vegas has tried to move on from Marchy before. I'd expect he'll just be gone alongside Mantha and Stephenson. Doro will be back. Brisson likely will crack the lineup full time. They have plans for Denisenko to come up too. It'll be an organizational weakness for sure, but one that they can likely solve. So Vegas re-signs Noah Hanifin to a reported 8 year contract worth 7.35M AAV.
As it stands today they have 5.7M in cap space for next season.
Marchessault, Mantha, Stephenson, and Amadio UFAs up front, Dorofyev RFA, and Martinen UFA on D though I suspect he walks.
Their winger depth is putrid for next season. Their available cap space will be spent on wingers entirely but would not be shocked to see William Karlsson traded so they can bring back Marchessault.
Oh I fully expect to yet again see Mark Stone on LTIR next season pre-TDL while they trade for 2-3 top nine wingers. I said it last year when they did it that it will be what Stone does every year until he retires.Big market... this is why the NHL works so hard to be in large markets. Well, I'm sure Mullett costs a hell of a lot less in overhead than a real arena did. I'm not sure "turning a profit while paying a ton less than every other NHL team on building costs" is something they can brag too much about. They aren't losing money though as was stated. Yeah there is opportunity cost compared to the rest of the league or in moving them, but that is a different concept (and easily 10-12 teams could make more in other markets). They actually made a profit moving to Mullett where they were losing significant money in Glendale.
I’m not saying they should be bragging about it, just saying that they were actually making money.Well, I'm sure Mullett costs a hell of a lot less in overhead than a real arena did. NHL is already dipping their toes in… a global series game will happen in the next 5-6 years. Probably a few will happen within a decade. If the only requirement for an nhl team is a city with a large population toss one in Mexico City
That OT winner was Fourgiev-esqueCaron going insane for BU in this 3rd period.
Unfortunate for him to let in that goal after the amazing game he had. I still think he was by far the best player in that game. That OT winner was Fourgiev-esque
Yeah but I just wanna see 70MacDermid doing an excellent job policing the game again tonight! No violence or cheap shots when he's on the ice.

Doesn’t look like they gonna win this one. Jets are playing like they really want home ice.If Dallas wins in any form tonight we play the jets round 1
