Newhook looks good on the wing. He still has sets and spots he likes, but he’s more fluid on the ice than he was with the Avs. Not constantly stopping at the top of the faceoff circle.

He doesnt look like an 18 yr old player at all. He looks the same way Mackinnon looked in his first few games as if hes been in the league for years already.

Yeah for real. I wasn't following the the NHL media as closely when McDavid came in but feels like Bedard is getting more hype and attention than he did.

I wouldn't mind if he had a rough start to his career if only for the hype to calm down a bit.

Hawks getting Bedard isn't ideal but I honestly don't mind the hype. It's deserved hype and he's awesome to watch.

McDavid's hype was also well deserved and he lived up to it.

Even MacKinnon had people going insane, even more so after his rookie playoff performance.
