Yea, I have nothing against Newy, the Avs were just not in a spot to wait for him to develop while also taking up the roster and cap space for someone that is ready now. If the Avs had a more established top-6 and he could be a tweener then it would be different, but unfortunately they needed him to contribute immediately, or they needed to move on from him.
