Watching Oilers fans react to Mack outscoring Mcd in the remaining 2 Oilers games and finishing first in the league would honestly be more sweet than the cup win.
McDavid’s having one of, if not his best stretch of his career the past 50~60 games, and that fanbase is still convinced he’s injured. Probably because they just can’t accept the fact that Mack and Kuch are neck and neck with him.

If he really is injured, the Oilers should just shut him down until the playoffs. Frankly a really dumb decision by McDavid and the Oilers if he really is nursing an injury, but I doubt that's the case.

Lol the delusional ones over there think he is hurt because he only has 28 goals and doesn't shoot as much.

It's quite obvious he is going all out to secure 100 assists.

The same has been said here many times with Makar and he is tied for goals and points among D, having the third most shots among D, while playing the 9th most minutes a game in the league….

These guys may have something lingering, sure a lot of players do, but it’s not enough to drastically effect their season imo.

Post it here. i wanna see how badly the Avs lost this trade.

Just some of the numbers:

Byram's xGF%: 41.87, GF%: 50.00, HDCF%: 39.22, HDGF%: 41.67

Dahlin:

xGF% w/ Byram: 45.30
xGF% w/o Byram: 58.69

Numbers are far from perfect and I believe for Dahlin it's taking the whole season into account not just his stats since the TDL but it provides somewhat of a picture. It matches the eye test in some of the games I've seen as well because overall Byram has not been good.

Paul Maurice moves into 4th all time career coaching victories in NHL history, surpassing Ruff and trailing Trotz, Quenneville, and Bowman.

Trotz and Quenneville likely won’t be adding to their totals anytime soon; how wild would it be if Maurice breaks the record but doesn’t win the Stanley Cup?

I've seen promising NHL career being ruined but that one is near the top. Once he retires the retrospective on his career will be something.
I feel for Laine. Felt like things were starting to get back on track a bit before his father suddenly passed. I wouldnt have been able to recover at 23 if it happened. Hell even today I would be a complete wreck.

Instead of analytics on a bad team, playing against top lines with Dahlin who has been gaffe prone defensively, and forwards who leave guys wide open all the time, you can also judge Bo's play based on the reaction from Sabres fans who didn't like the trade, but now say he's played a very well.

"He looks more like a two-way beast to me who is also a treat to watch offensively. I wasnt happy with the trade at first, but I was always intrigued by Byram's potential. I'm even more intrigued by him now."

He's playing much better than he did in Colorado, but Buffalo is just a much worse team.

Dumbest fans in all of sports AINEC.

Edit: They also would rather watch McDavid win the Ross/Hart than a cup it seems.
It’s been so long they’ve forgotten (or weren’t even alive to know) what your favourite team winning a Cup feels like and I guess care more about being able to say they’ve had a second player in the top 5 all time
