GDT: Around the League 2023-24 I : "Wake Up. September Has Ended!"

Is Bedard actually in Connor McDavids head? Its so weird right now but is McD getting a taste of what its like eventually that all top players have to face? When they get passed.

I'm not saying its happening this season but when it happens its often fast. Especially in the case of heavily leaned on players.

McD particularly, so much of his scoring and production seem predicated on world class speed. He's lacking a step suddenly. Mcd is much easier to hit and contain suddenly. Still think he picks it up and probably wins scoring race if he's healthy, but the signposts are there that hsi reign at top may not be that much longer.
 
If there's any external stuff in McDavid's head it would be wedding planning.

But I think it's just as simple as he's hurt + tired of trying to drag crap ass D and goalies on his back.

Watch as Blackhawks become contenders by next year. Meanwhile it oil country, it takes 8+ seasons. This organization is fubar

For any people that weren't here during the Canucks heyday (lol) during the late 00s, early 10s, they're all going to experience the worst fanbase in the league.

For how much people rag on Leaf fans, I've never seen a fanbase as constantly insecure and pathetic like Canuck fans. After every win, it was like a Braveheart battle rush to our board.

Amen. Which is why I will always have a soft spot for the Bruins. Thanks for 2011, my dudes.

I know we suck big time right now, but man do the Flames look slow and "meh". I have not sat and watched one of their games yet

They got hosed on a loose puck. Should be 2-2

How many guys do you know that were consumed by their wedding planning? I'm sure his fiancee is doing the majority of the leg work for the big day. He's hurt and likely shouldn't be playing, but he's a gamer, so here we are.

They suck with 0.65 of a McDavid so might as well just LTIR him until he's fully healthy. He's not going anything anyways.
 
Nylander is going to get PAID

He is their driver and best looking player most of the time imo. Matthew's has lethal shot scores in bunches, but he can also go invisible

Keefe scratched klingberg today. He's been that bad

The OIlers should trade for Klingberg then, he'd fit right in.

I’m sure he wants to play through whatever is bugging him but with this season potentially being a write off they should put aside 3.25 million this season by trade or LTIR to make sure Browns bonus doesn’t go into next season.
 
With each Leaf game, the Campbell to the Leafs rumor is going from bat shit crazy, to doubtful, to you know what, just maybe. ;)
