Then Moocherov f***s up another beauty chance and the Krappen get gifted a PP to end it in OT.

Can't believe there is a considerable amount of people online demanding manslaughter charges and saying the player intentionally did it. Like wtf?

I mean, I kind of understand how someone can come to that conclusion after watching the video. The video itself is potato quality and oddly zoomed and edited. I mean if you're completely unfamiliar with hockey and the speed of the game, I can see how someone could jump to that incorrect conclusion.

But as we know, the high-speed of the game combined with human mechanics causes ragdoll moments like what happened and sometimes skates end up where they shouldn't. I also watched a thread of videos of similar freak accidents in the NHL where disaster was avoided by mere millimeters.

The strangest part is somehow the "charge" him narrative is almost exclusively coming from right-wing, sometimes far right wing sources (most are Americans who've probably not even watched the game before) which is more than a little weird...

Either way the NHL and many pro leagues have taken far too long to mandate the usage of neck guards. It's mandated at the minor hockey level, it should be at the pro level too.

That goal was more of a kick motion than the ones I've seen disallowed after review against us. Who the hell stops like that? Total kick

Sean Monahan has five goals this season Nazem Kadri, Jonathan Huberdeau, and Elias Lindholm have five goals COMBINED this season

Really problem with Monahan is his season could be done by xmas

He somehow is healthy at the deadline Montreal could be in for quite the bidding war.

I'll repeat once again - how on earth did nobody recognize this as a problem in the summer?

Anyone that watched any Flame hockey last season could see that Toffoli was the heartbeat of their offence. He gets traded and it's met with a shoulder shrug because the coach being nice now is more important or something.

He was their most lethal scorer and they trade him for nothing lol.

Toffoli told the Flames that he wanted a longer term deal or to trade him. They traded him.

Best part was trying to make it a "hockey trade" by making Sharagovich the main piece coming back. Toffoli is another guy that could have returned a good haul of futures at the deadline, but instead they tried desperately to get something resembling incoming goal scoring in the deal.

Yup. And downgrading from Gaudreau and Tkachuk the off-season before. They have no offense drivers left
