Just f***ing brutal. And Puju over PLD and Laine, and broberg over zegras...
I think Laine was gone before the Oilers took Puls but yes some pretty brutal drafting.

I thought Holloway might be a shooting star but so far that's nowhere near the case.

X-man could be a very good one so here's hoping.

Of note-Kadri has 1 point in 5 games with the Flames this season--monster contract too.

At least the fLames have had a shit start as well. But aside from their most deluded fans and the usual media fart-sniffers, it shouldn’t be a surprise
Vladar was brutal. To enjoy this hockey season I may just stop watching Oilers games and focus on the Lames instead.

Something I noticed as different with the 2016 draft. Of the top 10 players drafted, only two are still with the original teams who drafted them (Matthews and Keller).

5 Mins 4 Ftg

Life is better with no expectations.

This is a cool site.

Actually its not really that. It has some interesting stuff like skating speeds and time in zones as well as shot location etc. I doubt that in its current form you will see a lot of the wild claims that come from other advanced stats.

huh? how do you know Tre would've passed on Jesse?
I do agree with @TheNumber4 in some sense though about Jarmo. When Jarmo passed on the next highest ranked Finnish player (and if I recall, they needed a scoring winger with size at the time) but took PLD instead, that should have been a red flag. But not much time to reassess your draft plans when you're the next team up on the board. The pick should have always been Tkachuk if he was there but that's Oilers scouting for you. Blinded by light reflecting off the shiny new object that had a great WJC tournament.

Way too much stock is put into that tournament in my opinion.
