Interesting, Savard would make sense as the local pro scout but Strait is based around Boston. Then again, maybe that's standard protocol to have a couple sets of eyes.



I wonder if that'd be a reclamation project for somebody like Arizona. Coincidentally the first time I saw Bellows play in person was when the USNTDP played at Arizona State in 2016 (linemate with current Coyote Clayton Keller as well). Bellows has an NHL shot but maybe just lacking in other areas.

Technically he didn’t sign the Chara contract. Because of contract issues he couldn’t take the Boston job until later that summer and he had to stay in Ottawa until then. Gorton was technically the GM who signed Chara.
