I supported bringing Dubas back based on the work at the deadline and having the continuity in management to navigate the offseason.

But Dubas’ vision of expensive forwards trumping all has been pretty soundly disproven over the years. It’s just a very superficial way of building a team, going cheap on every other position, NBA bench and not having a good read on team chemistry. Basically no Leaf player outside the core group has ever gotten hot in a playoff series.
