It's the Leafs. I can definitely believe they would lose to a team that is objectively worse than them.

Leafs got goalied though, that's legit...
It's only goalied if you make it hard for the goalie instead of throwing garbage perimeter shots with no traffic at them.
Really easy to be a goalie against Toronto and Carolina.
Vegas creating completely chaos in front of Bob at all times and throwing him off his game. Last thing you want to do is let a goalie get dialed in.

This is pretty basic stuff. When you have a goalie playing lights out, the whole team in front plays with confidence beyond their collective sum. That was Florida through three rounds.
When your goalie is Swiss cheese, you tighten up, lose confidence and become what we see here with Florida.
Bob is the reason for it all. He did it to Boston, us and Carolina, then lost the momentum sitting for a week and lost his hot streak.
No need to get triggered having lost to this Florida team, it’s just the way it goes sometimes with Hockey.
Not to say we don’t need to make changes, clearly we do, even if it’s to send a message, of not being comfortable with losing.

A hot goalie can get you to the final but a complete team will always roll you over. Happened to Montreal in 2019 as well. This Vegas team is so well rounded top to bottom. Offensively they are 4 lines deep and the top 6 D is huge and mobile. Hill is also going off. Just hard to stop.

Can say what we will about FLA (a team that just made the playoffs and ultimately ended up in the SCF), but Vegas is truly just that good.

I swear it is like people didn't even watch the Florida series at all...
Make no mistake about it, we lose to Vegas in 5 games or under. Still funny how we beat Tampa in 6 despite being outplayed in 5 out of 6 games. If you can't see the difference between the Leafs and Vegas there's no helping you.

Offensively the leafs are a much better team than the Knights. Yet they couldn’t keep up the pressure like the Knights do. The Knights keep coming at wave after wave.
