It always seems like Russian players are so oblivious to players' reputations outside of their circle.

Podkolzin just got absolutely thumped by Greer. Bloodied him and Pod initiated it.

Reminds me of Mikheyev jumping into a fight with Bennett without hesitation last year. KO waiting to happen. You could tell Greer was trying to time a bomb.

Hampus Lindholm was a steal of an acquisition for them. Really bummed that the Leafs weren't able to get something done there but I imagine the cap was a limitation... he's playing Norris level hockey this season.

How many people really thought it was a good deal at the time and thought his contract was an overpay?

I bet if Fowler was moved he'd show well on a good team.

Fowler plays top minutes on the PK as well.

I thought the deal was great at the time it was made and the contract was really good value. Anaheim is a bad team, previously Hampus had a strong history of playing good defensive hockey on their top pairing. Also big and physical. I'm happy with Gio as a consolation, but in an ideal world I'd love both haha.

I was beating the Lindholm drum non-stop. Guy has always been an elite D and he never stopped.

Just cause some of the dimwits here with their useless advanced stats charts said he wasn't good anymore, it shouldn't have changed anyone's opinion of him. Boston knows D and they got him for a reason.

With Muzzin's situation this guy would have been a massive acquisition for us.

With Muzzin having another concussion and his health being very questionable in general, getting Lindholm was an absolute no brainer, but our GM has no balls at all and decided to just limit himself to the bargain bin again.

If Muzzin was LTIRetired last year...

I would guess they can safely use his Cap now.

Hopefully on a healthy player with history of being healthy, and more than a 1 trick pony.

Really think you have to look at the tank teams, and include lottery protected 1st., and blue chipper for a term player.

Does anyone know why the Sens game started at 5:30 Eastern. Seems like weird start time.

It looks like we don't have the only AHL goalie who can't stop a simple one-timer from a cross-ice pass on a 2-on-1 break.

Quick just gave up two in the first period, allowing four goals on nine shots.
