nj didn't even flinch when meier got rekt. we talk about the leafs doing nothing in these situations; they looked far more cowardly than the leafs ever have.

No matter whether Meier was hunched over, or Trouba is tall, the principle point of contact was the head. I’m not arguing it is a penalty according to the current rules, but I do believe that type of hit should be taken out of the league. Trouba seems to get away with these quite often too, and why wouldn’t he, if he isn’t penalized? But I do think more should be done to protect the long term health of players.

Kane isn’t a scoring winger, but a setup guy. I get your point though. Panarin and Zbad should be scoring more. The kid line has looked better, but no finish.
