Looking at the Western Conference and I think it's so wide open and every series is a toss up. Any 1 vs 8 or 2 vs 7 matchup isn't a "lock" for the top teams.

Flip a coin.

Jeez.

Upset night.

Chi smokes the flames
Ducks beat Avs
Ari blows out St Louis.
Even Buf over the Jets, although I agree with previous poster that Buffalo finds a way in.

With the W over NJD, the Preds are only point out a WC spot and 2 behind Minn.….Never know.

Demko has been awful. I remember reading rumors somewhere that the Canucks could be worried that what is goin on with demko is what happened with schneider (injuries really hurting their play).

Found where it was rumored. This was back in the summer too, and his play has been awful this season.

It's frustrating, I feel like Tampa hasn't really been all that great this year yet somehow they are still right behind us.

Boston beat themselves against Tampa last night ... IMO

Bruins seemed to be waiting for the Lightning to make a mistake rather than forcing them into mistakes.

Maybe the break is coming at the right time for the Bruins to recharge.

That was some game between Tampa and Boston last night.

I think that is Boston's mantra, especially against us. Wait for a freebee and take advantage. It takes true discipline as a team to play a game and not do that. We saw the Leafs do that for a long period earlier this season... so they know how.

I also felt that Tampa attacked the Bruins D in their own zone, no so much physically, but attacked their sticks and really prevented them from breaking out of their zone clean. In fact it was Tampa that forced Boston into mistakes.

Tampa was full value for the win.

Not sure I blame Markstrom for the loss, Flames defensively let so many odd man breaks, but Markstrom's stats aren't good. He has a .500 record, and less than .900.

I read somewhere that Markstrom has allowed goals which made the Flames trail by 1 or 2 at a greater percentage than Vladar. First period has been a huge problem for him and the Flames can't afford to keep playing catch up given their lack of firepower. The Raddysh first period goal wasn't great

Pretty telling that they started him vs the Hawks last night and saved Vladar for the more important game at Seattle tonight.

Every year Jack Eichel is lookin more and more overrated. I remember Sabre fans bein adamant that he was better than Matthews lol.

Seems like he has major attitude issues too.

Mikheyev injured long term again.

VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have announced that right-winger Ilya Mikheyev is set to undergo season-ending knee surgery.

Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin says the 28-year-old forward suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the team's first pre-season game back on Sept. 25.

So they're pulling him now because teams don't tank.

Marner was always the 2nd best player in that draft.

Nucks is such a gone show. I really believe there is something wrong with their medical staff, and there are a lot truth in what Hughes said about how they handled Pearson's injury. You rarely see a player publicly stating his injury and how the team's staff is at no fault.

FL and Broons tied up.

I don’t feel the least bit sorry for Boston, but they played Thurs in TB, tonight in FL, play tomorrow at 5 in Carolina, and of course they get a little rest before Weds in Toronto.

Why are both games tomorrow 5 pm starts, and up against NFL playoffs?
