A little bizarre to see the mainboard slaggin the Leafs and crowning the Cats after their last game...I mean it went to OT, was basically dead even, and we were on the back end of a back to back. Not to mention we just beat the Cats not long ago.

I am comfortable with any of Boston, Florida or Tampa if I am being honest. I like our chances in any of those 3 series. Goaltending just needs to stay healthy and be average. The skaters are good enough to go all the way.
Going into the Leaf game, in Florida's last 20 games they faced 6 playoff teams and had one win in those 6. Anyone assuming they will do well in the playoffs may want to dig deeper.

Moore with a beauty shorty after a sweet turnover by Barrie , lol , didn't realize Moore leads the NHL in short handed goals .

Giving up Trevor Moore was a mistake. Dude’s apparently got 5 SHG this season.
He had a very slow start, only 1G 1A through his first 22 games (and of course that goal was against the Leafs). Since then he has 41 pts in 51 games and has been playing very well on a line with Danault.

Leafs legend Hari Sateri 4GA through 2.
Poor guy, I feel for him. He should've just not reported and signed with the Leafs (or another good team) in the summer. He's just gonna get shelled playing for Arizona and it may cost him future NHL chances now.

It's funny because you always hear how much Leaf fans overrate their players (not to say it doesn't occur to an extent as it does with all fanbases) but there's a ton of ex Leafs going on to be very good players elsewhere.

Ive learned my lesson never to put to much trust in the leafs winning a series. Ive also learned not to discredit the bruins because they have managed to remain a consistently good team all while getting older/losing some key players.

Im excited as hell for the playoffs and whoever the boys play, i just hope they play up to their capabilities.

The perks of playing in a garbage division and weaker conference. The only Western teams I really rate are Colorado and Calgary, and even Calgary is a question mark because I'm not sure how much firepower they have after the Gaudreau line. I guess Minnesota is not bad either.

I honestly dont get the obsession's over calgary and how the main board see sthem as cup favorites. there just as unproven in the playoffs as toronto. All the sudden they get Suter in as the coach and theyre "built for the playoffs".

Theyre a good team dont get me wrong. Im excited to keep an eye on all Canadian teams once the playoffs start

Don't sleep on the wilds. They are good, they dont get the buzz and are not given enough credit.

Muzzin was good when he got he but without having won a round with him in the lineup, I'd take a do over.
Parts of different trades with LA actually. Muzzin was acquired for Grundstrom and Durzi; Moore was traded for Campbell and Clifford. While I hated to see Moore go, he wasn't going to play in net.

They're good yes, but they're similar to Calgary where they have one really amazing line being carried by an elite player (Kaprizov / Gaudreau). The rest of the team is sort of unproven still. They are coached well and play well together though.

They just don't strike fear into me the same way that a healthy Colorado, Tampa, Carolina, Florida, Boston or Pittsburgh do.

I think they are pretty balanced from the times I saw, and they have the same record as the Avs in the last 10.

Let's see how it goes though, it'll be interesting to come playoff time.

The thing that is pissing me off currently about the NHL is how Kane's allegations are just kind of kept hush-hush. Shit like this should be actually addressed and not just kept quiet IMO.

Avs are missing Landy and Kadri though and even then 8-1-1 is in line with their elite performance this whole season.

I think Wild/Blues will go 6-7 games, not sure who wins though as the Wild are more well-rounded but St.Louis has lots of experience with recent deep runs and plays a gritty style that works for playoffs.
