I'm not moving anything. I called Karlsson's 40 goal season the PED fueled fluke that it is. You decided to compare him to Kopitar for who knows what reason. If you don't like the direction the conversation turned, blame yourself.

Switching from "Karlsson actually sucks" to "the Knights are only 15 points ahead of the Kings" is the very definition of moving the goalposts.

The only comparison I made was pointing out the absurdity of criticizing Karlsson when he's only a handful of points behind our own leading scorer.

He's amazing . He now has 34 on the year and 692 career, tied at #9 all time with Stevie Y. Messier at #8 with 694, so he could get three by midweek. 732 puts him top 5 all time, which if he stays healthy, he'd hit by mid season next year.

He's a machine for fitness , and loves to score, so he's very motivated to keep playing. If he plays to 40 , which is 6 more years, I guess he if he averages about 35 per, he could get to #2.

He's just a brilliant goal scoring machine. And he's physical as well, which is not a combination you see in recent years.

They should be getting Bjorkstrand back soon. He was very good before his injury.

I didn't count them out, Bob leaving would affect them, given his success there, but Jarvo and JD did great job drafting, and they have a very good young team and a bunch top prospects in the farm system. And they were both high on Elvis last year, confident he's got the talent to be a top goalie in the NHL and it looks like he's heading that way.

And they have a good leadership group there. Foligno is a great choice for Captain, he's a smart player, takes pride in the C, on and off the ice and esp in the locker room (according to his teammates) very dedicated player who puts a pound of sweat in every shift.

And I love Seth Jones, always felt the Jackets got the better part of that trade. Just a very steady defenseman, good skater, good with the puck and reliable. And pairing him with Werenski, was a great move, a good top pairing.

They are a good team and will get better.
