I think Kane just exposed the hell out of that rule

Just start ripping people's helmets off in the last minute, keep em rotating fresh ones to the bench

The league/team execs didn’t think this penalty through. A player who rips off an opponents helmet during play should be penalized for roughing. Kane should’ve been heading to the box in that sequence.

Are noogies really roughing though? Maybe our new strategy in the last minute is just love everyone a little bit too much.

There are lower level employees who know Robitaille and his ability as a hockey personnel "expert". Let's just say Luc isn't Phi Beta Kappa. There are people with higher profiles in the organization who if they know you from seeing you at various events through the years will drop little hints.

There is a lot of reading between the lines required. All I can say if you know Dean and Luc even a little bit, you know Luc often felt Dean never took his input seriously, and basically told him to stay on his side of the fence. There is some genuine animosity on Luc's part and Dean never seemed to give a damn about Luc. Again, me reading between the lines here, but you can't help getting the feeling Dean felt Luc was representative of the failed culture he had to change.

You can call it speculation. I call it intel. Anyone who has been around Luc will tell you he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Luc is a person with ambition just like every other human being, and yes I know he resented being on the outside when Dean was here. It's well known by people in the organization. It just isn't talked about openly.
 
i have a bigger issue with hertl dumping the puck off and waving his hands around crying for a penalty

play hockey and stfu, this isn't soccer yet. defenders stopping play to wave around crying because they think a play is offside is bad enough already
 
Its interference, same as intentionally knocking a stick out of a player's hands. If the ref's had thought Kane had done it intentionally they would have called him for a penalty, they just missed it.

They are horrible, the depth of a kiddie pool and their best player who looked like he was taking a step toward stardom last year has been below average to bad alot of nights. AA has been a train wreck too after having a big year last year.

But Yzerman has the longest leash of any GM in the NHL, not alot of bad contracts and most of their best players are still under 25 but they desperately need to hit on their draft picks the next couple of years, I thought reaching for a defensive d-man where they did last year was terrible.
