Jesse is just fine on All the Kings Men. He's basically the only member of the Kings-affiliated media that has said anything about Doughty's awful play this year and last. Sure, he might not be the most polished TV analyst, but at least he's willing to say what others won't from time to time. The criticism for him on here is ironic given that the entire point of a message board is to make us all feel like we're being heard, when in reality we're all basically the old guy yells at cloud meme.

Are you saying you want to start a podcast with me

Yeah so basically the Stars are in the same place that we are, except they still think they are contenders and have never won a ****ing thing with this bunch.

People here don’t realize how good we’ve got it.

I yell this into the void every time I see someone complain about a 7th round pick we traded somewhere along the line or some two-time cup winning veteran not getting traded immediately after winning a Cup.

I’m sure he’s a fine podcaster. I just don’t know why they put him on TV. It’s Los Angeles for f***s sake. We can’t find someone without food in their beard?

There are seats in the PR sections for $30 for the game against Minnesota on November 12. I can't imagine there are many season ticket holders who are happy about that price. I doubt I will attend a Kings game in person this season. While the ticket prices are low, the hassle of the traffic, etc. isn't worth it.

Every seat should be empty, but, they still get enough people paying that cheer when they score, or even more rarely, win. I'm sure kids like the names Kopitar and Doughty. Kids might like any name, any NHL player is larger than life, but they can sell a jersey or two.

And now 31st in points% after the Detroit win. Way to go Mantha.

Top half of the Pacific is coming back down to Earth a bit too.

I hate to sound like an old man but I sure do miss the hockey focused crowds at the forum. The last 5 years at Staples, even with our winning teams, the crowds are largely just staring at their phones until the dance cam comes on or someone tells them to cheer. That’s not just us though. That’s a lot of sports in general.

That’s society as a whole. Zombie phone culture is on maximum

I really liked that guy that asked Matthew Perry about his show. (It was literally just cancelled.)

I about fell off my chair laughing. What was his name, Moreity?

This is why I got rid of my tickets after 2016. It was tough, because I had them from right before staples opened, but I just can't make games like I used to. I was lucky enough to keep them through the cup wins even with my first being born in between the two victories. I used to be able to come out ahead on the games I didn't make, even with fees. But when the prices went to shit I was losing hundreds of dollars. It just wasn't worth it anymore.

On the bright side, the kids will be the perfect age once the contending window opens again. :naughty:

This can apply with all sporting event. 5 years ago, smart phones didn't rule your life. Looks at any Dodger/Angels game and watch behind home plate. Half the people are looking down.

When McDavid got his hatty against the Ducks tonight, that was the most hats I've ever seen thrown by a visiting fanbase. He just ate up Gibson tonight.

And my dad and I made sure to snag those tickets while we can. Going to games is a rare occurrance for us so whenever there's a good deal on premier seats we jump on it whether the team is doing well or not. Hey if I'm going watch them suck in person at least do it with the comfort of in seat service.

Going to a game with your Dad is always a good idea. Plus, when you sit in the PR's you get to avoid the riff raff. :)

He'a right. At some point, the finger needs to be pointed at Babcock and Dubas. I really thought when they inked Babcock, he's be a great fit there but that hasn't been the case.

Don Cherry got fired from Sportsnet, after 'comments' (diverse remarks ) he made Sat. night. Anybody know what he said? Granted , it's long overdue but curious as to what did it?

I think one of the reasons I don't enjoy the game as much is the volume of the music every time there is a break. I enjoy introducing new fans to the game including my kids, but it's not fun having to scream into their ear during a break in play to try and explain what they just saw.

Arizona is still on the weaker side defensively. Still can't finish games in regulation. Plus the Caps are good, and at home.

The Coyotes are now 6-6-6 in regulation. Vancouver 7-6-5. Calgary 6-7-7. Vegas 7-7-5. Anaheim 8-8-2. Pacific division hockey.

Cherry took a shot at all immigrants for not wearing poppies for Remembrance Day and finally got the ax for being the garbage human he’s always been.

He’s got no shortage of supporters though. If there’s one thing the last three years have taught me is that there are far more people out there willing to support racist/xenophobic/bigoted/insert whatever adjective here attitudes than I ever would have thought possible in 2019.

It's also the type of music they play. It's loud, crappy music.

I'ver never had any riif raff in the 200's.
If your not sitting in the PR section, and you don't think you have ever met any riff raff in the 200's, you are the riff raff. :)

I like the PR seats, but I hope everyone knows I am kidding when I say riff raff. I know a lot of people who sit at different locations, and they are all good people.

He didn't say Immigrants. He said "you people", but it was construed as being toward immigrants. I guess Mississauga and Toronto have a lot of immigrants because he talked about walking around there and not seeing people wear poppys, but what do I know about it I live in Southern California.
