The reason the Devils got Jack Hughes numero uno overall was because Hall was moving on and that Hughes would at least give the faithful in New Jersey some hope. The NHL rigged the draft like they have so many...Sidney Crosby to Pitt...just in time to save the franchise ala Mario Lemieux! I'd say Hall is headed to California,Arizona or Florida where he can play and enjoy the sun!

So, Foxy was on twitter asking how to improve the broadcast. Someone asked for him and Faust to actually call the game instead of chatting with eachother about everything except for the game. Foxy replied "Sorry you feel that way but I don’t think that will be changing much.".

What I don't get is why he would even respond and why he would do it that way. He is basically admitting to ignoring the game to babble nonsense with Faust and telling the fans to deal with it.

How out of touch have they become that they believe we would rather listen to them chat than call the hockey game?

Dillman is out there on twitter telling him how great he is for telling the person that he isn't going to change.

I am honestly worried that the echo chamber means they are never going to change, I can deal with this crap now since the team sucks. Syncing up Nickson or finding another feed isn't too much of a hassle when the games aren't critical. When the team gets good and we still have to hear the 'Fox and Faust show' and the horrific intermission segments it's going to really suck.

I just went and found the tweet you're talking about. The guy that said it is getting absolutely roasted for saying anything negative about the broadcast as if he raped every single one of the people who replied's sister. It's absolutely f***ign disgusting in this day and age that the moment anyone has a dissenting opinion of something it immediately goes to grabbing pitchforks and attacking characters.

Especially when the guy is right: Faust and Fox suck together.

Yeah it's pretty wild how people are responding, instead of responding to his critique every one of them is just attacking him. I also noticed the the first response was from LGK, haha.

Probably because I'm getting old but twitter is confusing to me as it doens't seem to be organized into threads in any way. Did Fox actually ask for feedback or did this guy just comment out of the blue? Either way, the fans make Jim's life possible. He's always seemed like a down to earth guy but he needs to remember that.

Fox had a tweet yesterday talking about trying to get input from viewers. It appears this guy just tweeted it to him without including the previous tweet, but I imagine it was a continuation. As for your second part, i seems like a lot of the Kings organisation is fairly hostile towards the fans. I saw Brooklyn ripping the season ticket holders at the end of last season which just blew me away, especially coming off the season we had. I get that people want to vent about customers, I do it all the time, but you don't want to do it in such a public space.

I don't mind Fox and his insights...Faust is an idiot who claims he knows everything when in fact all he is is a blabber mouth!
