We need more Heidi AndrolWe clearly need to bring back Kitsyn!
The Sharks look like they are having a stanley cup hangover minus the cup
It needs to happen more, the two of them together is not good. I think separated they are fine.Holy cow. I saw the tweet to Jim Fox and Faust. It was harmless criticism, basically a “hey focus on the game” tweet. So what? Fox could have easily ignored it but I guarantee you that comment set him off. He responded because he knew it would elicit a reaction from fans. Some guy tells the original tweeter to not be a D——k and Faust says thanks for the support.
So I think these guys are sensitive to criticism, especially in Fox’s situation because I guarantee he was never criticized when he was working with Bob for 3 decades. These guys, they live in a bubble. You look at their twitter feed and it’s just an endless parade of reach arounds between them and fellow media types/fans.
This past week these guys have been on vacation in Canada basically, it’s more about hanging out in different cities and pretending they matter. These media clowns don’t give a rats rear end about the Kings suckage.
You can easily tell on the broadcast. Someone called them out on it and it set them off. Big time.
I saw Fox and Faust have a podcast now, no I'm not kidding! Just imagine how annoying and unlistenable this will be. ..It needs to happen more, the two of them together is not good. I think separated they are fine.

They might be fine together too, just not doing the Kings game. If they were the NBCSN late game crew, they would probably stick to the game. The Kings broadcast has been bad for years though. Just look at the terrible pre-game ceremonies they would try to have. Trotting Miller out there at an old age. Fox has been Flanderized. The team is now not only bad, but bad after winning, which makes everything even worse. If they were winning, nobody would care about the dogs. Now that the team is unwatchable, the dogs become a particular annoyance, even though the Kings aren't the only team doing that fluff.

My mom has a podcast now.I saw Fox and Faust have a podcast now, no I'm not kidding! Just imagine how annoying and unlistenable this will be. ..
You can change it to no one including all the Kings podcasts by fans. If these guys had talent they would have been hired by the other dead medium-radio.Podcasts are virtually worthless. Everyone has one and not everyone listens.
Jesse is just fine on All the Kings Men. He's basically the only member of the Kings-affiliated media that has said anything about Doughty's awful play this year and last. Sure, he might not be the most polished TV analyst, but at least he's willing to say what others won't from time to time. The criticism for him on here is ironic given that the entire point of a message board is to make us all feel like we're being heard, when in reality we're all basically the old guy yells at cloud meme.
There are seats in the PR sections for $30 for the game against Minnesota on November 12. I can't imagine there are many season ticket holders who are happy about that price. I doubt I will attend a Kings game in person this season. While the ticket prices are low, the hassle of the traffic, etc. isn't worth it.And the GM called them both out last year. Benn is having one of those old Kopitar type starts to a season. We complain about Kempe, but Benn also has 0 ES goals. 1 more PP point than Kempe in the same amount of PP time.
Gave Seguin a giant contract that's buyout proof. Same with Benn. Would've been smart to trade them years ago, and not even bother with Pavelski, Radulov, and Bishop, but they can't draft worth a damn either, so who knows what the team would look like. Can't let Seguin go though. Good looking young guy, face of the franchise, put up many quality seasons for the Stars. The system is built for guys like him to stay where they are. If you don't pay guys, you become a cheap organization, even if the smart thing to do is to not pay these outrageous contracts. There are only so many Seguin's out there, and you have to put a product on the ice. Names will at least sell some tickets. Have to spend the money on someone, because you have to reach the floor. Couldn't have timed Benn's contract worse either. Signed him after the 15-16 season, which was his career best, but pretty much declining ever since. Plus I'm sure they both love the tax situation, and they both get so much of their money up front every July 1st.
Pro sports are tough. At least in NA anyway. If it could be like soccer in Europe, with the relegation, and what I think(don't really follow Euro soccer) is much more of a dog-eat-dog free market, it wouldn't be as bad. Even the Red Sox are thinking about getting rid of their former MVP because they want to stay under the tax. The downside of the cap are the long contracts to keep the hit low. Maybe the NHL needs to make the salary the cap hit, and not the average over the length of the contract. Or max 5 years. Something, because there are a lot of teams(and in turn fans) that end up paying a lot of money for nothing. Unless you have an all-time great like Ovechkin, who just keeps scoring year after year, no matter how old he gets. It looked like he was declining, but then he didn't.

Yeah so basically the Stars are in the same place that we are, except they still think they are contenders and have never won a f***ing thing with this bunch. And the GM called them both out last year.
