The Oilers have been mathematically eliminated from catching the Kings at 52 points, they join Nashville, Calgary and Colorado as the eliminated. 4 down, 3 to go.

How to avoid too many men on the ice: a study.

Well I have both starting goalies in the Anaheim/Columbus game tonight going for my fantasy team so I am hoping for a 0-0 shootout.

I wonder if Perry can lay off all the cherry picking for one game and help me out. LOL!

Then ducks are really good at offense, I don't know how they do it, they have real good speed and make dangerous plays quickly.

That was a weird second goal for the Ducks.... "The right amount of zupe on it" according to their announcers

Howard's performance today was pretty amusing. That whole Detroit vs. Calgary game was weird. Kipper scored on from long range as well, a backhander from the red line no less...

Go Jackets. Two firsts of the season for Ducks players in this game :banghead:

Jackets can move into a tie in possible points with Detroit tonight, awesome. Unfortunately CBJ is waay behind in ROW, so they will still need to outplay DET late this season almost all on road.

I wonder what will be going through Rick Nash's mind if the Blue Jackets make the playoffs and the Rangers don't.

Let's see how the Jackets do in a 2nd game if a back to back. We know the Kings don't tend to take advantage of those situations, as witnessed earlier this week against the Sharks.

Since 2005 It seems Back to Back's are overrated teams never seem tired.

Unless that Back to Back happens after 4 in 6 or something.

Sutter basically said the same thing about it ... both about other teams and the KINGS success in Back-2-Backs as well ... stating that the old wife's tale of the team playing the Back-2-Back should be tired is an overrated myth, it only catches up to you in the 3 games in 4 nights kind of situations, 4 in 6 like you say, etc ... and as it happens Thursday's Game will be the 3rd in 4 nights for the Jackets :) so let's see if Sutter is correct :)

Sutter said:
On San Jose finding energy in the second game of a back-to-back set:“You know what? I think everybody this year, you look at back-to-back games with all the good teams, especially in their own buildings – it’s reflective of good teams always, right? I know we haven’t had a problem back to back at all. It’s more of the next part of it – The three-in-four, those things.â€

I expect a loss with all the given circumstances. I think the jackets will beat us tomorrow.
