All games outside, and than they go with BC Place which is enclosed? Why don't they just host it outdoors in Ottawa?

I'm not even mad. The cap will be higher because of this and the Kings will be able to spend more. Even if it only turns out to be a million or less more, every little bit helps.

Part of me thinks this, but the other part of me likes the opportunity to see the Kings outdoors in LA. I kind of wish it wasn't the ducks, but it'll be exciting nonetheless.

I don't get all the hate.

It's different if it's always the same 5 teams are playing. But, it's not going to be. I don't understand why Rangers are playing in two games. Why not just have a NYI vs NJD.. I guess it's about money for them.

But, I love it.. I can't really complain. Fans always say that the NHL needs to market itself and they do.. and fans complain because it's too much? Oy vey. This isn't too much.

what prestige? its just a cash grab for the nhl and EC teams. kings never had a shot at the classic.

Not only that but after the first/2nd winter classic it got lame for me. I remember sleeping 10 minutes into the first period. It lost its "prestige" a while ago.
