Some important Russian claims he will try sign Voynov... Good luck with that...

Back away from the Voynov and no one gets hurt.

I think muzz helps our power play enough to give him the edge over Martinez. He moves the puck well on the power play and walks the line well and I think those have been major factors in our pp resurgence.

Muzzin's lack of hockey sense cost us a goal while on the PP last game. We can't have a rookie making bonehead plays like that in a 7 game series. One goal could be the difference between a series loss and a series win. The saddest part is his far and away best asset is his ability to shoot from the point on the PP.

Sutter, please scratch Muzzin.

One mistake by a rookie will not cost a whole series. It could cost a game or change the momentum. But what about what caused those other 3 losses? And I have even seen veteran D make the same mistake and cost a team a game.

Unless it's OT in game 7. This rookie is more mistake prone than any other d-man currently on the roster. I understand that he's young and he'll get better but as of today he is the one d-man on this roster that can be most easily exploited. He is the weak link and as you know a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

Do you think it's just a coincidence that Muzzin is playing the least effective hockey of his season since Drew was removed from his hip?

Oilers fired Tambellini!

...and hired MacTavish. yes, Craig. Poor Oilers fans.

MacTavish always comes off as slow and dumb whenever he speaks. I can't imagine him being a good GM.

They also hired Scott Howson as VP of hockey ops.

Lowe just completed one of the most embarrassing press conferences I have ever seen. The guy seriously came off like a spoiled child

Looks like we won't have to worry about Edmonton developing into a contender anytime soon.

With Lowe/MacT/Howson at the helm, they could pick 1st overall every year and still find a way to screw it up.

Well, we should keep Edmonton on the list of carcasses we should perpetually be circling.

Until they get rid of Lowe, this is the type of crap that will happen. That front office needs to be completely gutted

I couldn't agree with you more.

Mac T is a step in the right direction in so far as getting away from point and click Tambs is concerned but he has had his chances and the results are questionable.

Don't care, let the Oilers fail as much as they do but I agree that Lowe should have been the first to go if they want to right the ship.

You have to be kidding. Doughty does the same thing almost nightly. He has just been lucky that it hasn't resulted in a goal yet and it may have and I'm just not recalling it. Drew doughty is the the sultan of shin guard shots.

Colorado has always kinda been a good market when winning, a poor market when losing. And they are losing quite a bit lately. That's a really poor team that has quit, as evidenced by Giguere's rant. Don't blame the fans there. They need a culture change hardcore.

I really hope Columbus comes out with the win. I really want them to get a playoff spot, those fans deserve it and they have finally built a team the right way, with plenty of depth. I really like many of those players as well (Gaborik, Anisimov, Dubinsky, Nikitin, Johnson, Bobrovsky), hope they can knock out Detroit, that would be just FANTASTIC. **** Dead Wings
