What are thoughts on Lakovic or Bear?

Have Lakovic higher than most (at 9) but i kinda wish he used his size for good instead of not using it at all (evil).

Bear was my number 12 until he got injured, so now he's kind of in my 20s, just concerned about that injury, as everyone has stated

This finishing the season off while not tanking on purpose is working well, with our 3-2 loss to Montreal.
Our remaining 5 games, at rangers home v ils,at Ottawa, host Columbus and buffalo, could be 2 to 4 pts in the kitty. Columbus is a notch better than us, buffalo is playing pretty well, we could possibly lose all 5 and be sitting in a spot where any lotto win would be epic or be in tier 2 of selections.christmas is close, we. For what its worth, tankathlon has hardcoded Sabres and Flyers taking Misa over Schaefer (one sim bumped him to 3rd with Flyers taking Hagens 2nd). I am not sure they would pass on Schaefer

Hmmm….only 0-3 wins like for each team. Flyers better start Cal Peterson for a few games. Hoping for 4OA or 50A and of course, lottery luck.

Sad that every year our season turns to hope as a strategy. That said, the team had played some competitive hockey at times. Back to hope as a strategy, darn.

Honestly that top 4 is looking more like Schaefer, Misa, Frondell, Desnoyers.

I don't see any scenario where Desnoyers goes ahead of Hagens. Hagens has dropped, but not nearly that far.

Thank god they lost. That was a big one. Sitting with the 4th pick with 5 games left. (Ignore NHL.com saying they are 5th as if the season finished Flyers have the tiebreaker over Boston)

Doubt will drop to worse than 6th now given the games left between Bruins and the Sabres and Pens... and the fact Pens and Bruins play Chicago. The RW record the Flyers have will help.

We had to get out next Laughton since they knew he would be on the way out at the deadline. That's way more important than a potential 1D.

Yeah, I simmed it several (dozen) times to see what they have us doing, and the Flyers and Sabres appear to be the only teams that don't take Schaefer #1 on their board. We go Misa unless the Sabres take him first, then we take Hagens. (I also saw the one scenario where we end up at #3, which I think is Detroit winning the first lottery and jumping to #2, and us winning the second lottery, and we got Hagens then, too.) If we're at 5, normally Schaefer/Misa/Hagens/Martone are off the board, and they give us Frondell. When we're bumped and Frondell is gone, they give us Desnoyers. I don't know if it's possible for us to end up in 7th with the top 6 being Schaefer/Misa/Hagens/Martone/Frondell/Desnoyers in their setup, so I don't know who they have as our 7th top prospect.

The current Tankathon mock looks good for us.

Brzustewicz, Benak, Trethewey and Limatov in the 2nd.

Not sure who they will really take, but there are some good prospects in the top 50 and we should be getting at least 7 of them...

San Jose will improve with their talent.

Chicago sucks. Boston can rebound with Pastrnak, McAvoy, and Swayman.

Keep the current goalies at all cost. McKenna, Martone, Michkov. That’s an alright core. A chance for Pippin to show his quality.
