Yeah, they didn't have an offensive problem, it was all defense. Though now you get to sign a premium center without giving up assets, so NOW they CAN give up premium assets for a premium defenseman.

There just doesn’t seem to be any true #1 D available on the trade market, at least not publicly.

Regards to Toronto, if they use Nylander and their 1st as chips, they can get a Dumba, a Trouba, like player, it all depends on what they are willing to move, but I don't see Nylander lasting when Matthews and Marners will be resigning etc, That just made their cap situation, very very interesting moving forward
