Further proof that NorCal is full of dirty hippies...

No one wants to see a disgusting male body covered in tattoos with a dirty beard. Females only please.

Look at his arms.

And what I do with my balls during outdoor activities is nobody's business! I'll swing them wherever and on whoever I choose.

Trying to get the GAA down to where it was in 2014/2012 is unrealistic IMO. Those were some of the best defenseive teams the cap era has ever seen.

Look at the defense we had:

2012:
Scuderi-Doughty
Mitchel-Voynov
Martinez-Greene

2014:
Muzzin-Doughty
Mitchel-Voynov
Martinez-Regehr

How are we supposed to match that? Muzzin has regressed. LaDue and Gravel are essentially rookies. Aside from Doughty there's no one on the current team in the same universe as Willie Mitchel defensively.

Kings don't need to get to that level (as I pointed out). But getting Quick back and a real 3C that plays defense, plus more experience from last years rookies can get it down significantly. Team defense matters, it wasn't just the D men. In 2012 Doughty and Scuderi were minus players.

It's true that forwards are just as responsible for team defense as defensemen, and I also agree that we need to upgrade our 3C spot. That said I don't see Hanzal or someone similar making that much of a difference on overall team defense.

I think this team's main problem last year both defensively and offensively is the same. They looked stale, bored and lethargic. That's the main thing that needs to change.

Not true. Just look at Erik Karlsson. He plays forward and can't play defense for ****. Best player in the league!

NZ knows what's up. When was the last time you heard about it being overpopulated? CHI-NA should be taking notes!

Yeah about 4.5 mill all up, we're a long way from everyone which helps I suppose.

Is it China this year for season opener? Perhaps NZ in a couple of years eh

From Darren Dreger this morning

Jordan Weal - over a dozen teams have contacted him and his on tour this week. Did agree on term with the Flyers but not on $$. I love Weal, was the Flyers best forward down the stretch and would love to see him here in Philly. But I get that some of those teams are better than the Flyers and his usage (top 6 fixed wing) and shot at a deep playoff run/Cup might be better. So if Hexy misses, I would understand why. But boy I'd hate to lose him.

Karl Alzner- Drawing a crowd and will visit several teams this week (per Le Brun, that will include the Habs)

Justin Williams - 50/50 chance he stays DC, will speak to them this week

On Kulikov - Sens have reached out to him

Replying to @PierreVLeBrun

Kulikov's agent Mike Bogdan says he's had lots of calls already from other teams since window opened...

on the Sens trading w Vegas to get Methot back (or Preds and Neal)_

Have confirmed this with Bill Daly just now: There is no blanket rule prohibiting a team from re-acquiring player lost in exp draft already
