It's actually pretty crazy that the Ducks have been in almost the same position 5 years running. They still have Game 7 to play, but 5 different teams, in 5 consecutive seasons.

This just shows us that the Kings can't completely lose their identity or their defensive nature. More skill, speed, and offense sure, but two all out offenses going back and for scoring at will, while exciting, is volatile and unpredictable. Both the Ducks and the Oilers can't control their own fate, just hope they can pot more before time expires on the series. If we try to match that style we can't out compete teams that have been selecting 1st overall half the time for the last eight years.
